What we offer? Learning through English, in an international environment, in intimate classes, with teachers who teach, but also inspire and encourage the development of many skills.
Gdynia International School (GIS) is an English-speaking, international Primary School and Preschool. The Primary School was opened in 2021, following the success of GIS Preschool, which was founded in 2013. The School allows children in the Preschool to continue their education and it creates new opportunities for young children in the region to gain a high level of education, mostly through the English language. The school principal, Kevin D’Arcy, has been leading educational institutions in the Tricity since 2007.
GIS Preschool gives the best preparation for children to continue their further education in GIS Primary School. The classes are conducted in English by qualified and creative teachers who are enthusiastic about our educational approach.
GIS Primary School educates children according to both the Polish and UK standards. The teaching staff is selected according to their qualifications, experience, and a proven aptitude for teaching and inspiring children. We work towards all children being fluent in 3 languages and much more. The children are encouraged and guided by teachers to behave in a way that expresses high cultural and diplomatic values.
After classes children can participate in various extra-curricular clubs including – dancing, theatre, football, chess, karate and/or lego-robotics. The school gets involved in the city projects, such as “Gdynia on the wave” and “Gdynia on the stones”.
The Primary School and Preschool have a lot of space, which includes 2 playground areas, a gym hall, and a dining room. The class groups are small, which allow for meeting the individual needs of the children.
