Gdynia International School (GIS) was founded in 2013 and is located in Gdynia, at 37 Kapitańska Street (previously at 10 Moniuszki Street). The Preschool offers International and Polish families an international English language based education for their children in the age of 2,5 – 6 years old. Since founding the Preschool, children from thirty countries from Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America have studied with us.
The classes are conducted in English by qualified and creative teachers. They are enthusiasts who teach excellently and have a very good approach to the youngest children. They conduct activities and games covering many spheres of preschool education.
Weekly plan includes, among others classes in phonetics, reading and writing, as well as math, gymnastics, music and dance. Children also get to know issues related to physics, geography, history, citizenship, and also perform a lot of art and design activities. The GIS Preschool educational programme is stimulating and holistic. It encourages children to develop their full range of personal skills to be competent and enthusiastic learners.
There is a family atmosphere in the Preschool based on mutual respect and understanding. Teachers and tutors help students become responsible, internationally oriented citizens.
