GDYNIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL  offers world-class Cambridge Primary Curriculum as a first school in Trójmiasto

GDYNIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL has been approved by Cambridge International Education (Cambridge) to offer its world-class Cambridge Primary programme for learners aged 5 to 12 years.

Cambridge Primary is an international education programme that is taught in more than 2500 schools in over 120 countries around the world. It gives learners a strong foundation of knowledge, understanding and skills at the beginning of their schooling. With eleven subjects to choose from, including English, mathematics and science, there are plenty of opportunities for learners to develop creativity, expression and wellbeing.

The programme also includes a range of assessments to help teachers identify learners’ strengths and weaknesses, and monitor their development as they progress through primary education.

Rod Smith, Group Managing Director for International Education at Cambridge said: “We are delighted that GDYNIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL has joined our global community of Cambridge Primary schools. Our Cambridge Primary programme starts learners on an exciting educational journey, helping them to thrive in and outside the classroom and giving them a firm foundation for the next stage of education.”

Kevin D’Arcy, the founder and principal of GIS said: “This is an important step in the development of our school.  It gives the parents significant reassurance that our school meets the standards set by Cambridge International Education.  It also puts the staff on track for developing new skills through the various courses offered by Cambridge”.

Cambridge International Education (CIS) is the awarding body of the International Education group at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, part of the University of Cambridge. CIS works with schools worldwide to build an education that shapes knowledge, understanding and skills. Together, they give learners the confidence they need to thrive and make a positive impact in a changing world.

Cambridge offers a globally trusted and flexible framework for education from age 3 to 19 (the Cambridge Pathway), informed by research, experience, and listening to educators.

With recognised qualifications (such as Cambridge IGCSE and International AS & A Level), high-quality resources, comprehensive support and valuable insights, they help schools prepare every student for the opportunities and challenges ahead. Together, they help Cambridge learners be ready for the world.
