The safety of children while using the Internet is now a significant challenge in school education. That’s why at Gdynia International School, we have organized special workshops for students to develop their digital skills and protect them from dangerous situations online.
We had a special guest from the Internet Company, Jit.team! Our Special guest, Ms Karina, was speaking with the children about what steps they can make to keep safe when using the Internet. She also spoke about the benefits and some issues to be aware of when using the internet. The children found the presentation very interesting. The Staff also thought that the presentation was very useful for the children.
With the advancement of technology, children have increasing access to the Internet, which brings many potential risks. Knowledge about safe Internet usage allows children to avoid inappropriate content, scams, cyberbullying, and contact with dangerousindividuals.Providing thorough education in this area helps children develop digitals kills and promote healthy online interactions while ensuring protection from dangers and negative consequences that could impact their well-being and development – said Kevin D’Arcy, Gdynia International School principal.
