Summer School
As every year, in July and August, we have a “Summer School” at Gdynia International School- Preschool. Children can spend their summer time learning English in an enjoyable atmosphere – they participate in different workshop, art classes, sport activities and various trips.
“Summer School” is a unique programme of activities that has been developed so that children can learn and play at the same time. The goal is to develop their interests and expand their knowledge about the world in a fun and interactive way. It is important to create the right conditions for education in an atmosphere of summer holiday and fun.
There are 2 programmes in two different age categories. Each week is devoted to a different topic. For the youngest ones we have prepared a week of colours, culinary classes, workshop about animals and a week of sports. The plan also includes some sensory activities, a fairy tale week and many scientific experiments. The older group can participate in Hawaiian week, nature activities, a festival of colours and a travel week. In addition, there will be sport activities as a part of the Olympic week, sensory activities, a book reading week and a special week called “I can do it!”, when children will practice their independence skills.
The language of instruction is English, so children develop their knowledge, expand their vocabulary and improve their foreign-language skills.
